Avocado mousse has been the answer to the needs of many health enthusiasts sweet tooth for quite some time, however, this little recipe offers something a little new and exciting.
The best thing about this mousse (apart from the obvious rich chocolate delight) is that every single mouthful is packed with heart healthy omega3’s and skin loving antioxidants, keeping you glowing from within.
Coconut Crunch Mousse Recipe
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
- ½ bar of coconut crunch chocolate, melted
- Start by melting your chocolate on a low-medium heat. Once melted remove from the stove and put to the side to cool but not set.
- Place the avocado, banana, maple syrup and cacao powder into a blender and pulse until smooth.
- Once all the ingredients have combined you can stir through the delicious melted coconut crunch. Pour the mixture into small ramekins, tea cups or expresso mugs and place in the fridge for at least 4-5 hours.
