“I work with clients to create magical outdoor spaces, which can be enjoyed all year round. Taking my inspiration from the distinctive art, landscapes and architecture of East Anglia, I aim to create an unmistakeable sense of place, whether the garden is large or small. ” Over a number of years, while pursuing a successful career in the City, I was lucky enough to create some amazing gardens from scratch, one of which was recently featured in The English Garden magazine. Eventually I decided to make garden design my full time career, training at the Inchbald School of Design and being awarded a Distinction in their Garden Design Diploma. Alongside uncomplicated, practical ideas and careful choice of materials, creative planting is always at the heart of my designs, that magic ingredient which can lift any space and fill it with joy. My project portfolio includes modern courtyards, traditional cottage gardens, a wildflower meadow, large scale border designs and country gardens. “ “The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.” William Butler Yeats
